I heard about the Duke women's coach today on the radio. they said she was the fifth-highest paid coach in Durham.
I know its women's basketball, and they tend to lose money, but fifth?

Pssst, if you're going to call people "hillbillies" you should be sure to get the grammar correct.

Makes it easier to understand the move, doesn't it? No excuse for her to be paid that low on campus.

I thought the list I heard today was head coaches. Maybe I was wrong. Can anyone clarify?

So, did the hog calling at the press conference scare away Altman?

Interesting fact regarding Beilein to Michigan and Big East success: Big East leads all I-A conferences with 56 players on NBA rosters on opening day this year. Pac-10 was second with 54. Next closest leagues had like 36, 35, 34. Of all those 56 Big East players on an NBA roster, not one came from Beilein. I'm not knocking Beilein as a coach or in any way saying Michigan could've done better. I know the Big East is a tougher conference top to bottom than the Big Ten. I'm just pointing out that little factoid because I found it interesting. It very could just prove that Beilein gets the most out of less-heralded kids.

He does. He's the best in the game at creating mismatches and kicking your ass.

I was thinking more along the lines of Bob Huggins.

Kevin Willard appears to be headed to Iona. Good for him, though he deserved a head coaching job last year.
