Colonoscopy ... give me good vibes

No complaints about my procedure. I had it at the hospital, as opposed to an outpatient clinic. Had some Bahn mi after.

 

Round 1 of liquid complete. Now we wait.

 

That didn’t take long

 

It's quicker than fast-actin' Tinactin, for sure.

I have one next week, the day after a urology appointment. Assault on my bum week.

 

Mine actually didn’t take effect for a couple hours.
But when it did……I think I krapped out a blue Dubble Bubble gumball from 1983.

 

My biggest question is, how long do the effects last? Or, asked another way, how long am I going to shit my brains out?

 

You'll be busy tonight but honestly, you should get a halfway decent sleep...not uninterrupted, but not up every half hour wiping down the bed or the couch b/c you shit yourself. Maybe a little more pooping tomorrow morning, frankly, I think it depends if you're nervous or not.

 

Well I have another jug to drink at 0300 tomorrow morning.

 

Well then you'll be shitting in the morning! I think mine (mine being prep, not my shits) were complete by midnight.

 

I think my evening trips are done or winding down after about 2.5 hours.

Six or seven trips, some worse than others.

Not too terrible.

 

This reminds me of my wife dropping me off at my most recent colonoscopy.

Her: "You look good. You look thinner."
Me: "I'd fucking hope so!"

 

Same for me. Sorta like OK, where is it, when's it gonna start CLEAR A FUCKING PATH!!!!
