That's NOT the answer. And I understand if you can't separate his views on race from his views on everything else, but we can disagree. And I certainly don't see it as some sort of badge of honor.

Empathy doesn't mean you have to be nice when somebody else is being an asshole. Empathy means you an actually have an interest in how others feel and perhaps even take a stand on an issue based on the feelings of others, not yourself. In this case, I really don't care that much about the name Redskins or the logo, but I understand how others are offended. I already explained that once, but you seem to need things laid out for you more than once before you catch on.

Two, Mark causes problems here by being a racist. He will often repeat the same racist crap over and over until he gets a response. If you think it is worse to not play nice on a message board than to be a racist, something is very wrong with you.

I do NOT bring up that Mark is a racist on every thread, but it is absolutely on topic to bring it up on this thread. Of course he doesn't give a shit about a slur being used. He believes using slurs against minorities is a good thing. If he's going to argue this topic, his racism is absolutely fair game.
