No showers longer than five minutes. This is not a spa.

 

Not sure how my wife made the connection so quickly, but we started watching "Cross" on Amazon Prime, and the "sidekick" (John Sampson) is played by Isaiah Mustafa, who was the central figure in a long line of Old Spice commercials. Apparently also spent 4 years on NFL practice squads as a receiver and won some money on the "Weakest Link" game show.

 

Very disturbing show. Kept me up at night. He was great as Ryan O'Reilly.

 

For a lover of Homicide, Law and Order and The Wire, that show was the freaking ultimate.

 

With Christmas commercials seeming to start before Hallowe'en these days here's an oldie I have always liked, the weather reminds me of some past Christmases here in Canuckistan.

 

We watched the first few episodes before bailing (the show was well acted but the lighting was so dark and I just didn’t want to watch 5 more hours of the story). I only made the connection after there was an Old Spice joke.
