Commercials you like

I'm not sure what car company it is for but I like the commercial with the couple driving around trying to find their dog. As they drive they have his squeaky toys and are squeezing them. It's not a great commercial but it's funny to see my dog go nuts looking for his squeaky toys.

 

This is going back a few years, but it's eerily prescient. Also, I think that's Andy Dick in the first 10 seconds or so.

The early 80s Alaska Airlines ads (done by the same people who did the Wendy's ads from around the same time) were great.

 

I haven't seen this one yet this football season (maybe I missed it). It's for Allstate. Two tailgating guys outside a football stadium get a little too carried away and spill lighter fluid all over. As they're part of the "Hey" chant, a cheerleader says "Hey" with a worried look and points to an SUV that then blows up.

 

The guy with the beard in those commercials has the market cornered for clueless stoners who really, really need the good hands. Whether by design or not, he's got a vague resemblance to Tommy Chong, back when he was with Cheech.

The best one is the one where he plops down into the booth at a diner and goes on about his hot new ride as you (and his buddy) see it through the window as it's rolling onto the highway, where it gets plowed by a semi. That one is priceless.

 

"Would the owner of a white station wagon, please go f*** yourself?"

 

Never seen this one before, I'm guessing it was a Europe-only deal, but it's an extension of Nike's "Take it to the next level" campaign that had the fantastic POV-shot commercial directed by Guy Ritchie.

 

The Miller Lite commercial that starts out like an eHarmony commercial. I like that girl ... a lot. Anybody know who she is?

 

Riffing off the Grey Cup thread, the Pepsi Max "I'm Good" commercial was pretty good. I liked the first Pepsi Max commercial that had Jerry Jones taking the coordinator's headset.

 

That was incredible. Had not seen that.

This one, from Verizon, I really enjoy.

The AT&T rebuttal, though, I hate. You completely missed the point, AT&T.

 

"I'm sorry Dick Butkus."

 

"Apart from you?"

 

I LOVE that commercial. Love that guy in pretty much all those.
