Yes, it's very much an ad and comes off a bit contrived. But the car, and the dad's reaction . . .

If I was a small-towner, I'd trumpet here the fact I went to high school with these guys. But being in classrooms as a teenager with dudes who did something this cool unfortunately does not also make me cool.

 

Is it just me, or is she a dead ringer for Marlee Matlin?

 

Judging by the singing, maybe it IS her.

 

OK, I am roided up, have not slept in nearly 40 hours and cried twice today at work for like 30 minutes total. So I can't vouch exactly for where my hormones are right now.

But my god did that have me bawling.

 

I really like the Lending Tree commercials that feature the electric shock graphic around "shocking low" mortgage rates. Cool.
