That Apple ad was fantastic. Reminded me of the slacker kid who showed up at Christmas dinner in a suit, stunning everyone a few years back - I think it was a Visa spot.

Anyone else get fired up when that Northwestern Mutual Life ad spot comes on. When I hear the theme, I always figure it's touting the SEC's supremacy.

In case anyone's wondering what T.O. is doing lately ... he's hawking Carl's Jr. Philly cheesesteak burgers:

    "Ha ha! Madest thou look."

    More Geico brilliance.

That one's pretty good, although I thought it would be some variation on, "Roderick, thou bootlace is untied."

The newest Old Spice commercial with the moms singing in lament that their son is now a man. I have disliked a fair amount of the Old Spice commercials, but this one is pretty good.

I liked it, but it's going to get really old, really fast.

The Huggies/Luvs comparison one, where it says: "First kid:" and a youth asks if she can hold the baby, and Mom has her sanitize her hands three different ways. Then, it says "Second kid:" and the Mom hands the new baby over to a grease-monkeyed mechanic to hold, no problem, while she digs around in her purse.

It always makes me smile, because it's true. Parents do learn with each kid that babies/kids can handle some amount of dirt/carelessness, and having their parents be not quite as vigilant about every little thing all the time.

Do like the latest set of commercials from one of the investing/retirement firms showing the evolution of some great athletes (in reverse) back to their initial moments. Most recent one I saw was Apollo Ohno.
