The Middle Eastern kid's gonna grow on people.

    Even if he has Assburger's.

I love that kid. He's my favorite part of the show.

I do wish Chevy Chase weren't on the show.

Yeah, but it's not like they overdid him.

True. But he just sucks the oxygen out to me.

Better than Parks and Rec, probably will never reach 30 Rock, The Office or Arrested Development greatness, but I would place it on par with My Name is Earl.

I will watch it again, but I don't think it's must-see. At least not yet.

Don't put 30 Rock or the Office with Arrested Development. They're both good, funny shows, but not even close to the level of brilliance of AD.

Liked the show. Didn't love it, but I'll watch it again next week. And probably the week after.

Disappointed because of the talent involved. I'm a little confused though - did McHale's character graduate law school and pass the bar, but it was just his undergrad degree that was bogus?
Not as funny as Glee, nor as musical.

It was a big ole bowl of blah for me. I laughed twice, both times because of Abed - the Breakfast Club scene and at the end when he thought he was deaf. I sure hope it gets better.

I liked it. I think it has some promise. Few things:

    * Loved the Breakfast Club motif, and the "Don't You Forget About Me" cover at the end.

    * The girl in the green, isn't that Trudy, Pete Campbell's wife from "Mad Men?"

    * Not a ton of laugh out loud, but I'm willing to give that a few episodes. Need to see how the characters develop.

    * The girl McHale is hitting on has some tig ol' bitties.
