Great finale with a perfect twist to finish last night. I love this show.

"He's been to flavor country now. They should retire the table we did it on." ;D I damn-near fell out of my chair.
    and
"Oh, and for the record, there was an episode of Happy Days where a guy literally jumped over a shark. And it was the best one." - Troy's idiocy really cracks me up. Abed's my favorite character on the show (he didn't have much going on last night), but it's neck-and-neck between Troy or Winger who is No. 2.

I liked the episode overall with all the guest stars coming back but some of it seemed forced. They did have a lot to pack into 30 minutes tho. And I knew that kiss was coming.

Do you know what this is?

    A roll of quarters.

    Very solid.

As was Troy, when he picked up the big cookie. "Whoa! I can't believe no one's taken this cookie yet."

I love Troy. Him, Winger, Annie and Abed are definitely the four strongest of the main cast, and I love Dr. Ken, the dean and John Oliver among the guest stars. Shirley and Pierce and Brita and Jeff's other professor lover are the weak links, but they're all still decent to me.

Chase actually does a great job with his little moments.

Jeff has great chemistry with Brie and also the teacher. I liked the last episode a bit, but didn't like the fawning over Jeff.

Renewed for Season 2 but will go head-to-head against Big Bang Theory in the fall.
Fine with me, I don't watch the nerd show anyway, but I was wondering how that impact those who like both, and assuming you don't have a Tivo and can record them to watch a you please...

Season 2 premiered tonight. Solid cameo by Betty White, although trying to wrap up all of season 1 into a 30 minute show seemed a bit forced.

I missed it, but it should be on Hulu tomorrow.

Thought it was very funny -- maybe a little too on the nose with the Shit my Dad Says stuff, but otherwise, I thought that they did a great job. They tamped down the Jeff/Annie and Jeff/Britta stuff well.

Yeah, I like how self-aware the show is. (I'm guessing that Abed kind of speaks for the writers of the show, actually.) Almost every plot they do kind of zags from where you expect them to go. Even the simple stuff, like Troy eating the giant cookie to realize that rooming with Abed wouldn't be a good thing.

I thought the first episode was a good start for the new season, and I'm interested to see where it goes from here. I imagine the Jeff and Annie stuff gets re-kindled at some point though, as he does become a semi-decent guy again.
