    Funny this popped up, seeing Smashing Pumpkins tonight. My first was probably The Grass Roots--with Creede?-at Thunder Road race track in VT. First major concert, Grand Funk Railroad.

    Off to see Gary Clark Jr. at a small venue in Toronto a week tomorrow. Big fan, never seen him.

    Good friend of mine who is a huge Pumpkins fan saw them on the opening night of the tour and it was everything he hoped for. Loved it.

    It was, and they played for about 3 1/2 hours. Stairway to Heaven included.

    That was most of the crowd at Foo Fighters last week. It was an amazing show and no cell phone video will do it justice.

    They were great opening for the Foo Fighters when I saw them in Toronto in July. Great glam rock throwback, they would be awesome in a small venue
