I've done it. I had a good time. It can feel slightly awkward until the band comes on, but most people are just staring at their phones until then anyway.

I've done many shows solo, although mostly it was when I was younger. Never had a problem with it. Several of the top shows on my list I saw alone.

I've not only done it, I have traveled across the country to do it! Was a great experience. Met a lot of people and got to see an area I have never been to. I have no problem doing these types of things on my own -- movies, sporting events, whatever. If you enjoy it that's all that really matters. Have a great time.

Went solo last year to London for the Hold Steady weekender and by the end of the Sunday show, I was friends with a group of people from across the globe. That's why I'm doing it again in March. It was an incredible experience. I go to shows by myself all the time at home, too. It's easy to strike up convos with people because you already have one major thing in common -- a love for the artist you're about to see.

Stoked to have tickets to The Charlatans at the Wiltern on Feb 18. They are No 1 on the list of bands I’ve listened to the most and never seen in concert and they have the bonus of being ancient yet still making fresh new music, much like my music hero, Paul Weller.

So Kenny Loggins is doing a farewell tour. Might have to check that out since it was the first concert I went to. I was surprised he's not yet in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They WILL get around to him right? I'm not inviting people to trash him, just figured he'd be in based on his soundtrack work alone. Throw in his songwriting and it seems like a no-brainer. I do wish someone had a Baseball Prospectus like rating of "career comps" and where he compares to other Rock and Roll HOFers. Journey? Chicago?

Since Loggins and Messina ended, movie soundtracks are the only place I hear Loggins. I don’t think that’s enough for induction.

I would think they'd have to build a new Rock and Roll Hall of Fame the size of the Mall of America if they're going to pack it so deep that Kenny Loggins is getting in.

Fun trivia - name all the We Are the World soloists who sang verses - not the chorus (sorry James Ingram) - who are not in the Hall of Fame.

It's Kenny Rogers, Kim Carnes, Al Jarreu, Willie Nelson, Huey Lewis, Cyndi Lauper and Loggins.

Ingram was brought in after the main recording session to add some punch at the end by Quincy Jones.

Do it and enjoy. Did it at Red Rocks once. The atmosphere and such are still breathtaking.
