Might have to check that out ... just to see the keyboard player. :)

Seriously, I like the new Haynes songs I've heard, and he'll be in my area later this month.

If that's not my "next" concert, then Wilco playing in Spokane (2/6/12) definitely will be.

Saw Straight No Chaser last night.
Seeing Social Distortion and Foo Fighters tomorrow night.

Dramatically different, yeah. But SNC was a lot of fun and I imagine I'll enjoy Foo quite a bit, too.

Foo Fighters - ridiculously good. Three hours and I could have handled three more hours. I think some other SJ-DCers were there.

Moddy, I'm not being a smartass, but were you the oldest person there?

The last concert I went to, my wife and I were the oldest by almost 10 years and we're only in our late 30s.

I love Social D and the Foo Fighters... Sounds like an awesome show.

I was at the Foo Fighters show last night, too. I have no idea how old Moddy is, but the audience certainly represented a wide range in ages. I saw people who looked to be in their 50s, at least. And there were plenty of high school and college kids. I even saw a couple of children -- age 10 or under -- who were there with their parents.

The Foos were very good, as I expected them to be. (I've never understood why critics are always so lukewarm about them.) I would have happily hung around for a few more hours of songs, too. Social D was also good, as was The Joy Formidable. It was a really good musical night.

Robert Earl Keen at the Ryman a few weeks ago. Last and most likely best. Right up there with Willie years ago at the Alabama Theater and B.B. in Oxford.

If you want to feel young, go to a Jackson Browne concert. We were the youngest people there by a mile.

I'm 55. And Quakes has it right - quite a mix of ages. I wasn't the oldest person in my row. We had teens, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and I'm going to bet at least one 60s in my row.

I'd guess the bulk of the crowd was 20s/30s.

Social D didn't play Ball and Chain but was otherwise very good.

And Quakes, thanks for saying hello. I was the old guy in section 405. Or one of the old guys.

Might lay out some coin for Prince tickets. I can then cross something off my bucket list.

I see he's at the Tacoma Dome soon. Find a way to get there, B_B.

He's one of the best live acts I've seen (and I'm not the hugest fan of his music, although Mrs. Coco is). Prince puts on great shows.

Prince is my favorite artist ever. I will find a way to go.
