I thought about going to see PiL when they are In Toronto on Oct. 18. If it was awful it would almost be better if that makes any sense.

Best: Bon Jovi or Avett Bros.
Worst: Grace Potter? I don't know. No bad ones really stand out, but I saw her last year and was not impressed. It was free, though, so it wasn't a big deal.
Next: No idea. Maybe Springsteen in Denver in a few months.
Last: Avett Bros @ Red Rocks near Denver. Freaking awesome. Before that, Springsteen in Philly. Wasn't as awesome as I expected.

I've been to Red Rocks one time, and that was damn near 10 years ago. I saw the Allman Brothers there, then a week later I saw Bruce at Invesco. Good way to bookend a vacation.

Go see this. Johnny Rotten is something to behold. The backing band is really fucking good too.

Loudest gig I have ever experienced too. And I've seen Judas Priest, AC/DC, Metallica, Motorhead...etc.

I saw Jamey Johnson on Saturday night during the prerace at Bristol. He only got to play a half dozen songs on so but it kicked ass. I was about 15 feet from the stage. The show rocked. He's the last true country outlaw.

Last was Regina Spektor, who was fantastic as expected. Next is Florence and the Machine, which I can't wait for. The Gaslight Anthem will be here in November and so that'll most likely be the one after Florence.

On deck: Gaslight Anthem in two weeks.

REO last night at the York Fairgrounds. Pretty good 90-minute set. Second row, just right of center. Best seats we've had in awhile. Made a shot such as this possible. (Click on it to enlarge.)
