Morrissey at the Marquee Theater in Tempe February 10th. Assuming his bleeding ulcer is better by then, and he has no other medical event in the next two weeks.

And Huggy, you'll appreciate this: The Gaslight Anthem just announced a show at the Marquee in April.

I might. It's right around Coachella, so I'm waiting to see who else comes to town around then.

Last: Blue Mountain and Marah shared the stage at Proud Larry's a couple of weeks ago here in Oxford. It was my first time seeing Marah and they did not disappoint. I will definitely check them out the next time they are near.

I actually have a pretty good run of shows coming up.

Next: Lucero — Feb. 2 at The Lyric in Oxford; Glossary — Feb. 11 at Proud Larry's; Mike Cooley — Feb. 9 in Nashville.

Sunday's Coachella lineup -- with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Social Distortion -- is the clubhouse leader.

Last concert -- November at the Honda Center: RUSH! Right before they got their long-awaited and sorely overdue induction into what is truly now the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. A strong concert all the way around. But that's always the case.

Drive-By Truckers at Tipitina's in New Orleans Sunday night was a killer show.

They've had a couple of personnel changes since the last time I saw them (September, 2011); the chick bass player is gone and the pedal steel player is also out, and they're better for it. This show kicked ass hard from start to finish.

Before that, my wife and I saw Neil Young and Crazy Horse at Tuscaloosa in late October, and it was VERY good. They cranked it up to 11 and jammed hard for two solid hours. Highlight of the night: Fuckin' Up. Great stuff.

Truckers shows are always great. I knew Shonna left, but until I just looked it up, I had no idea Neff was gone. He was the unsung hero of that band. Wow.

Shonna and Neff are a couple ... so, there you go.

I imagine him staying with the band put a strain on their relationship.

Matt Patton is now on bass, and Jay Gonzalez was stepping out from behind the keys and playing guitar some with Neff being gone. Not sure if he's still doing that or not.

Yeah, Gonzales came out and played some pretty mean lead riffs. At several points they had three leads trading licks and it was pretty damn good.

Whaaaaaaaat? I guess she'll eventually get together with Gonzalez then, right? #referencingbandhistory

I wonder if her getting together with Neff led to her departure, given the history with Isbell. Maybe Patterson and Cooley don't want competition as the power couple. :D

Welp, Stone Roses will not be at Bonnaroo this year. Booked for Isle of Wight Festival and in Glasgow that same weekend.
