And so, you put coat on.

Not the best coat, not the worst.

One you used to wear when you were someone else.

You remember who you were, who you are now, and the journey that brought you to that place, tonight. Some good, some bad, but that's the way it is, this far downstream. No turning back now. What's done is done.

We were one less at the show, tonight.

RIP Real Guitars have Wings Guy, you got that tee, I remember the smile.

Fenian, give Andy Powell's Wishbone Ash a listen if they pass your way. We used to riff off them here, so you remember. Dude can still play.

Bon Jovi, Macau, three hours ago.

The man puts on a great show, though the strobe lights were annoying.

Hadn't heard of half the songs, but he didn't disappoint. My concert companion remarked that the keyboardist's 80s hair reminded her of a Muppet.

Entire band was dressed in black/gray, though the drummer had a red Chinese symbol on his shirt. I'll ask a friend tomorrow what it meant.

Bon Jovi's had work done, but dadgum, he looks great. The pecs and biceps were amazing, and the man has perfect teeth. Impressed he doesn't mind going gray.

    Chappelle, tonight, Hershey Theatre.

As sharp as ever. He did a 30-minute riff on Cosby that had 2,000 people crying in laughter.

Next: Seinfeld, four weeks, same venue.

Slash, in about two and a half hours. Taking my son as an 18th birthday present.

Slash was pretty great -- but you really feel old at a concert when you see someone shaking their cane to the music.

I don't go to many shows any more but the Old 97's are a band I have to see.

I've been a huge Elvis Costello for more than 30 years. I have everything he's ever released (which means I've bought a lot of mediocre stuff over the past 15-20 years). I have seen him live 7 or 8 times, always with pretty bad seats.

He's coming to town in April.

I just got front row seats.

    Holy shit.
