They'll hire the community-college flunkouts for $12 an hour, keep them for 6-8 weeks, then fire them and hire some high-school flunkouts for $10 an hour. Who they'll keep for 6-8 weeks, then fire them and hire some junior-high flunkouts for $8 an hour.

And most of the college flunkouts they hire don't know the difference between to, too and two, or they're, their and there. I kid you not - they don't have a clue. But they are willing to work cheap, so they are prized.

The uniqueness my friend comes from knowing the product. You don't. You've NEVER seen it. In fact, you probably wouldn't know where Trenton is without going to mapquest.
Your name calling doesn't change those facts. And by the way, I am having a wonderful ignorantasshat day. Can you say the same?

Aaron's your good friend, boots. Why don't you give him a ring and see what's going on? Time for that boots pipeline to shine.

Now, what a shock that would be.

BTW, you don't "threaten to quit" at a JRC paper. You breathe anything of the sort within earshot of Jelenic or one of his stooges, you leave the building in a rubber bag.

And if Bracy has breathed any such thoughts to anyone in the building, he's made a fatal mistake -- EVERY JRC paper is loaded with moles, rats, snoops and snitches, all hoping to get in good with the Big Boys by feeding them "inside information" on "problem employees" who may not be "on board with the program." The culture of paranoia feeds upon itself. (Of course, the rats, snoops and snitches end up getting their throats cut in the end, too, but for a brief time, they think they've gotten in good with the powers that be.)

Jelenic has ruthlessly, effortlessly, casually, terminated hundreds upon hundreds of employees -- probably thousands by now -- why would he put up for .001 seconds with some underling playing the "if I don't get what I want, I quit" card?

If Bracy still has his job tomorrow morning, it'll be because he crawled 50 miles on his bare hands and bare knees, through broken glass and cracked concrete, to Jelenic's doorstep to personally bathe the great man's genitalia with his tongue.

Y'know, I hate to rag on my old friends there in the sports department, but for fuck's sake, just find another job. I mean if it really is that bad, maybe Topeka, central Texas, or bumfuck Florida is the answer. If not, I recently saw where Burlington County is looking for a page designer. We all know JRC sucks. The secret is out. It's not gonna get any better with Jelenic in charge, and you guys all know that. There's papers in Atlantic City, Camden, plenty up in North Jersey, Altoona, Allentown, or just finding something else. I know I'm not one to talk, considering all the bitching I did when I was there, but there are options. I mean really, if it sucks that bad, make a concerted effort TO FUCKING LEAVE!!!!!!! I did. And it ain't all that great sometimes, but it beats the everlivingshit out of 600 Perry Street. Some of you guys act like your fucking prisoners. You're not. You're good people in a shitty situation. But get the fuck over it.

And there are some fucked up people in fucked up situations. Let's not forget about them.
But yes, you are right. If you are at the Trentonian, and aren't happy, leave. Every day you have an option when you wake up, to go to work or not to go to work. If you chose to go to work, you chose to deal with the situation you are in. If you don't like it, leave and be happy.
