    Escobar 4-for-4 in the 5th inning. Braves still have talented young position players coming out of their ears, and they have several more in the minors ... It's just finding a 3rd, 4th and 5th starting pitcher that's been difficult.

    10-0 Braves in the 5th ... by the way, Salty was also in the lineup. It's funny what happens when you find a way to put your best eight hitters in the lineup most days.

    The Braves had a flawless game going until they missed that extra point. Let's see if they can hold to this little 13-0 lead.

    Also goes in the books as his 25th career shutout. Rain shortened, but it counts all the same.
