Corriendo beisbol estring numero seis (because 46 pages on No. 5 was enough ...)

    Huh?

First post was about his hitting a homer to make it 12-3.

I observed that he seems to have gotten a lot of garbage production.

Then BYH and his tards attacked that sentence.

Now, what about the blow job... did I miss it above?

Roger Clemens has been pretty horseshit, hasn't he? Does Cashman have to pay for making it so important to bring him in? His fastball doesn't look very intimidating these days, and that's probably the most enjoyable news of 2007.

Hear Clemens is about to open a franchise called Honey Baked Hamstring.

Oh, come on....you were talking out of your ass. I'm not one of the people on here that takes shot at you given the tiniest excuse. Hell, I agreed with you in the ERA argument. But here you are again, going for personal insults when people disagree with you ("BYH's tards").

It was a stupid argument to begin with, talking about Gordon doing much of his damage in garbage time. This is a rookie just short of three months into his career. The sample size is too small...and he has gotten his share of hits when it wasn't garbage time.

But you keep on behaving like an ass any time anybody on this site disagrees with you.

    Again....Go Josh Beckett.

I expect Clemens to quietly demand a trade any day now, otherwise he'll be forced to fake an injury that puts him out until late August.

Based on what I heard from last night's game, Clemens' injury plan might already be in effect. Didn't he mention that he tweaked something and never explained?

Last 11 games, Gordon is hitting .390 with one home and one stolen bases. I'm sure it's not all in garbage time.

Loney is the 1B of the future. Kid's 19 for 38 in 13 games. Don't fuck with his mojo right now by bringing in Teixeira or someone else. That's what Tracy did with Choi a few years back. He broke out of a slump by hitting 5 homers in, IIRC, 3 games. Then what did Einstein Tracy do? Dropped him to the No. 8 slot, where Choi slumped again. Worst move Tracy ever made. I would've fired him right then if though he's not a bad overall manager.

Loney is 22 and confident now that Little named him starting 1B. His OPS is hovering near 1.400. Has 3 HR and 12 RBI in 13 games. I'll be really pissed if they demote him or move him.

The Big Hurt finally hits his 500th homer.

Agreed...though I wouldn't use Choi as an example. He did get other chances and he simply wasn't that good.

Loney is a much better hitter. Maybe not the pure power Choi showed in the minors, but he can just churn out the line drives.

I agree on the chances Choi was given, but the fact Tracy dropped him to No. 8 IN THE MIDDLE of his home run streak still baffles the shit out of me. Let the hot streak run its course and if Choi began to slump again, OK, move him down in the order. But not when he's hit 5 HR in 3 games.
