Dude.... all I said was "it seems he gets a lot of his production in garbage time."

    Then, you all started splooging.

Not trying to make trouble, just making a request: Could we simply quote the most relevant part of the post you're responding to rather than the entire post? Carry on.

Hey Simon. thanks for proving what a psychopath you are on this thread.

I didn't even have to drop an f-bomb for you to take the bait, like the psychopath you are.

I'm sure you think, over there in your little basement, where you've never done a bit of journalism in your life, that you've got all of SJ on your side. When the truth of the matter is NO ONE spoke up in your defense here, because everyone saw my point: That it's too damn early to say a guy SEEMS to put up stats in garbage time, when his average increases in pressure situations. The difference of course is I came up with stats that indicate he does pretty well in non-garbage time situations, while you came up with something you gleaned from watching a game on GameTracker. Not once did I say this proved he was a clutch player...only that it was too early, after less than 300 ABs, to say he wasn't.

I also like how it took you a day to respond to me. I know you were around, because you were flinging poo on the great documentaries thread. So I guess it took you this long to come up with your usual psychobabble about how everyone who agrees with me is a lemming. Hilariously pathetic.

The truth is if you disappeared tomorrow, you would make the entire board a happier place. Guess we'll have to wait a few weeks though. Peace out, psychopath.

OK gentlemen, can we back off on the vitriol and get back to discussing Clemens' tendons, etc.? Not that you care, but I'd prefer not to have this particular thread locked.

Ok...no more vitriol...though I wasn't "splooging." I simply felt the argument that the kid was doing a lot of his damage in garbage time was an unfair criticism given how short a time he has been in the majors.

Nope, still wrong. The hamstring is made up of many tendons and fibers. It's quite possible to tear one of them without being physically incapacitated. It can cause pain and weakness in the leg, but it wouldn't necessarily keep you from pitching. I know it's tough for a know-it-all to accept, but you're just wrong.

Torii Hunter with two more home runs today. (Hi Pallister!)

He's making himself a fortune this year.

  11. Adam Eaton; just another example of when overpaying for an athlete....goes wrong.
