Would it ever be possible for a player to hit for 2 cycles in a game? I guess he would have to go 8 for 8.

I think players have gone 7 for 7, but I may be mistaken. I guess in a double header it could happen where a player hits for two cycles.

Melvin Mora needs a triple to hit for the cycle, which has me wondering if there's ever been two players on the same team to hit for the cycle in the same game?

The cellar is dank, the cellar is stanky. With a couple more efforts like tonight, KC will shove the Sox down there for a while.

Make that 5 in a row for KC. :)

Berkamn looked like he might give it a run tonight. Had the HR and the 3B out of the way early.

    Dear Jimmy Rollins,

Nice proclamation in spring training. It has really worked out well for you and the Phillies.

    Sincerely,

The 2007 National League East Champion New York Mets.

The Royals will have a winning month and the Cubs have won seven straight. Too strange to be believed.

Damn, it would have been great to hear Hawk cry about that one. An 8-1 beatdown and a garbage-time double play by Alex Gordon, who had two hits when it counted still.
