So are we ever going to hear from Lidge again?

Sure, we will. He'll be on the mound, closing out the World Series for the Phillies and...

    Wait.

    That will never happen!

  3. I tell ya what. I wouldn't be opposed of Matt Garza replacing Boof.

Boof does not seem like the type that goes deep in games so he never has a quality start. He is great for three inning, but come fourth inning and beyond, he gets hit hard. I saw a stat where his ERA is up like 6 and more after the third inning.

It wasn't good for Boof when Dick Bremer and Bert Blyleven called him out for giving in against Toronto on Wednesday night. It's rare that Dick and Bert even called the Twins out on television.

Here's hoping Matt does well in the doubleheader next weekend so Boof would be on notice to start going deep in games.

You have the inability to read, obviously.

No one plays with a severed/ruptured tendon.

If you say that I was ever saying anything different than that, you are simply a liar.

Next time, bold the proper definition.

The fucking disingenuous posters on this board make me fear deeply for our part of the business.

I think Pettitte might have to go on the DL with a sore neck after watching those shots go out.

Mike Hargrove to resign as the Mariners manager today. Didn't see this coming.

Scary play in the Cubs game when the broken barrel of the bat spun toward Cubs pitcher Jason Marquis. Amazingly, he got off with just a bruise to his right cheek, cleanly fielded the ball and threw to first to get the out.

Garland's done that twice so far. One flew at him, and he dodged it. The other sent the barrel 10 rows into the stands, though it didn't look like anybody was hurt.

DETROIT (AP) -- The Detroit Tigers bolstered their bullpen Sunday, acquiring right-hander Jose Capellan from the Milwaukee Brewers for minor league pitcher Chris Cody.

And that frees up a roster spot for Gallardo to stay up when Capuano is activated from the DL.

Why Aaron Heilman sucks, part #765,897:

Comes into game with a 3-2 deficit in the 7th. Get two outs then gives up HR to Victorino, triple to Utley, walk to Howard, RBI hit to Rowand (on a fucking 0-2 pitch!)..
so now it's 5-2 because Aaron Heilman, a whiny little bitch who does not possess an "out" pitch, sucks.
