Mauer is 4-5 with 5 RBI.

Each and every one was soft.

20 hits for the Twins in the seventh.

They should save some of those hits for the nightcap!

20-10 in the middle of the eighth, Kubel with seven RBIs.

Darn, I wish this game were being televised.

20-13 now in the bottom of the ninth.

I know no one cares about my fantasy team (hi spnited!), but I have Michael Cuddyer and he has managed to go 0-for-6 with a run scored even though the Twins have 20 runs on 21 hits.

Oh, and nice outing from Jon Garland. 10 ER in 3.1 innings.

Methinks this Sox-Twins game is far from over... 20-13, bottom nine, 1 out, bags juiced..

zeke, are you nuts? don't you read the papers? rondell white is coming back after the all-star break! and - get this - ken harvey is playing himself into shape in triple-a! the twins don't need a trade with those two mega bats on deck. /losersidhartman

You almost had me, leo, but you forgot to float the idea of reacquiring Corey Koskie to play third, blissfully ignoring his battered status.

Still, that's a solid Sid outta you. You're a genius.

Scott Baker allows seven runs on nine hits in five innings ... and gets the win in that 20-14 game. Wow.

Just a cute way of listing the baseball thread. Whoever has started each part has done it a tad differently each time.

Sp if we hurry up and fill up another 14pages or so, we can start another baseball thread. :D

I don't know if that's genius or scary that Leo was able to pull a perfect Sid. ;)

Thanks for the info, Hank. I'm only getting sporadic visits to SportsJournalists.com lately, so I didn't know if I missed something or not.

Hour and 15 minutes or so until the start of the second game between the Twins and Chisox.

Will it be a pitcher's duel? Or another scoring frenzy?

How many runs are the Twins going to wish they could have saved for the nightcap?

I was at the game, enjoying it from a luxury box.

You were at the game and didn't invite me?

    I should ground you!
