    I'm not trying to be argumentative here, more genuinely curious. As a desker you don't have the ability to cut even an inch of local copy? That seems like a painful rule to have to adhere to. Sometimes you just have to make judgments to cut graphs in order to fit with your space allotments.

    A few lines might get cut out of a long story, but for the most part pains are taken to find room for staff copy. One of the easier things about sports is that a preponderance of wire copy can make adjusting a lot less painful and more efficient.

    Coco was the first one to actually attempt to give a refutation that sounded like something that happens on a regular basis and he makes a fair point. The others provided little more than, "You don't understand!" without any facts.

    You provided an example of a night shift which I pointed out should be relatively out of the ordinary unless your managers are disorganized. You have neither said that the example you provided is an unusual night, nor said that your managers are disorganized, even though I have asked you twice.
