He's had quite the story since leaving ESPN. Google his name and there's a ton of TMZ-type stuff about him and his conduct.

Yeah, it seems his ego has gotten a bit too big since the early days when I listened. Kinda like Cowherd, I would guess. Had no clue he was married to Holly Sonders. Talk about outkicking your coverage.

I wonder how long ESPN will keep cowherd on the air. Sounds like he's back tomorrow for first show since all this broke.

Kind of surprised he's not getting The Bill Simmons Sendoff, and basically being benched until he's gone.

Man, we could do a whole "where are they now?" with shitty late night sports talk hosts.

Since Sports Byline USA still exists I would assume Ron Barr is still involved with it.

There was a host on Sports Fan Radio in the late 90s named "The Sports Pig" Mike Responts who died in 2012.

JT has managed to have a 20-year career as a Jim Rome knock-off.

Dan Sileo was on Fox Sports Radio when it initially started and did the 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. shift.

Bob Golic did late nights for a while with a co-host and was actually kind of good.

Sileo's still out there kicking around somewhere. Last I heard, San Diego. Grade-A douche.

Chuck Booms and Kevin Kiley made that always impressive move from national show to local obscurity/unemployment in just a few years.

I think it may have started with putting a hooker on the show during Super Bowl week in New Orleans one year?

I used to love when the local slap in Pittsburgh was on vacation because it meant getting Kiley and Booms. during that timeslot.

The night Phil Hendrie played an airline pilot who needed a belt or two to calm his nerves before flying (post 9-11) was one of the best. The people calling in were so *pissed*.

For today, Cowherd talks about his leaving ESPN. Clearly amicable as Bristol is letting Cowherd talk on air about this from LA. Sounds like he moved cross country last week.

Then I hear Rusillo talk about how he is staying for years at ESPN. I guess his endless talking about NBA cap space - truly riveting radio - ensures his future.

July is a litmus test for the quality of a sports radio talk host. You don't truly have NFL or NBA or college football to really fall back on.
