Palin was afraid of Katie Couric. We're supposed to believe she would have stood up to Putin?

Meanwhile, Hagel has his carving knife out, ready to use it on our military. So does anyone really tremble at the thought of what Obama could do in this crisis? Not in Moscow, and soon, not in Syria, or Tehran....

The media badgered the Palins well beyond the point of harassment.
    She was the VICE-presidential selection.

Susan Rice blames the misleading Western media coverage of the
Sochi Olympics as the reason for Putin invading Ukraine.

    Well, yeah.

These things don't happen in a vacuum. The first thing Obama did after taking office was to "reset" our relations with Russia, which had been strained because of Georgia.

And, we kissed Putin's ass in ways large and small ever since, all while he continued to oppose us on issues like Iran and Syria.

We appeased him on missile defense in Poland and the Czech Republic. We promised him greater "flexibility" on nuclear issues after the 2012 election.

We also did nothing when he expelled the U.S. Agency for International Development from Russia and cancelled the Nunn-Lugar program of cooperation on destroying and securing old Soviet weapons of mass destruction.

The strongest stance Obama has taken against Putin was to send Billy Jean King to the Sochi Olympics. Are we surprised that Putin was not intimidated?

If they had only afforded Obama the same vetting process........

But if he does nothing, then he's leading from behind and is a pussy. So what then?

Since when can you type "pussy" and have it show up?

It's not the media's fault her daughter got knocked up and decided to go on reality TV.

It's a pain when I post about Pussy Riot or Josie and the Pussy Cats.

You seriously think Putin wouldn't have done this if McCain or Romney were in office?

I am not trying to get this thread locked but I have a sincere question: what foreign policy experience did Obama bring to the table in 08?
    I'll hang up and listen.
