    I'm still in the lower end of 30s. With the changing demographics in the country and the direction the GOP is being forced by the lunatics, I can easily envision a world in which there is not another republican President in my lifetime. I think this would be unfortunate. I think the country needs (at least) two strong political parties.

    It's embarrassing, really, the presidents this nation has elected since 2000.

    It's a product of our education, which trails most of the developed world.

    In the West, Moscow's intervention in Crimea has been denounced as "brutal aggression". In Vladimir Putin's mind, that is hypocrisy. He never loses an opportunity to remind the world about US intervention in Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan.

    Not to mention Central America and the Caribbean. It certainly is hypocrisy on our part.
