    Let's get this back on a military twist.
    Gen. Patton said America loves a winner and will not tolerate a loser.
    Men's soccer hasn't established itself as favored in Patton's view.

    I'm just curious how the Ted Cruz, a fiscal conservative, was going to pay for a multi-billion dollar program without sending the nation into more debt. A multi-billion dollar program that had, at best, a spotty record in tests and wasn't guaranteed of working.

    Of course, if we weren't spending trillions in Iraq then maybe the cost of a missile defense program - which wouldn't have kept Russia from retaking Crimea - wouldn't be a problem.

    We should be starting to realize large savings in cost of Medicare and Medicaid now
    that Obamacare is in place. It would offset increased defense costs.
