Given the historical positions and practices of the parties, it is not surprising to me in the least that 0.000000 percent of certain overwhelmingly African-American districts would vote for the Republican candidate.

    Consequences.

What I can't really get, in any overwhelmingly-white district with median household income below about $500,000, why more than about 5 percent would.

You are, of course, comparing an area with roughly 6-7,000 voters (I don't feel like adding up all your numbers, to 1.25 million voters.

Yeah, blocking the Civil Rights laws in the 1960s, starting the KKK, fighting against Lincoln and the GOP in the 1860s, instituting Jim Crow laws, LBJ noting he'll "have those ni**ers voting Democrat for the next 200 years."

Democrats sure have a history of being on the side of the African-American race. ::)

Well they did kick all those people out of the party. They found somewhere else to call home.

Back to the Ukraine: Any new ideas? We'll wait

A few weeks ago Russia said it was in discussions with Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua,
and also the Seychelles, Cypress, and Algeria, for access to facilities to be used by Russia's strategic bombers.
This came in response to Kerry lying about what the Monroe Doctrine is and then declaring it dead.

Sure, if by "kick all those people out" you mean waiting for them to die. Their only next home from the Democrats was a casket.

As you know, it was made clear about 1970 to the Dixiecrat Dems they either had to get their minds right, or get lost.

Maybe some of them took a flight on Malaysian Airlines to the Ukraine.

Only a true propagandist would take something from 50-60 years ago and try to argue it has relevance today. It's like he's purposely trying to fuck with people. A poor man's impression of Boom, if you would.

That said, I've not one heard any pundit suggest anything reasonable that would have led to a different outcome with Ukraine. What, we're going to go to war over an island in the Black Sea? Come on. Tougher sanctions? I'm sure those are coming. Sooner than later, too. But I just can't get excited about any more foreign follies, no matter how many times Ronald Reagan tore down the Berlin Wall with a sledge hammer made of dynamite.
