I always feel like one of the mods is going to throw the eraser at me, like my old Sister Seraphim used to do.
In short, as I said weeks ago: I never would have made the foolish threats in the first place.

Well it's certainly good to see such level of concern at disrespect for The President.

 

Jimmy Carter thinks Barack Obama is a shitty foreign policy president.

 

To his credit, he doesn't think America has much of anything that functions.

I had this whole thing about how President Obama's foreign policy approach was akin to the schoolyard bully taking the other kid's lunch money while McCain and the rest of the chicken hawks think the best approach is to run up and punch someone, anyone, in the face.

Then I realized it didn't matter.

Those opposed to President Obama are going to be opposed no matter what he does and those who support him will continue to do so no matter what.

I just wish American politics would end at the beach and let the President be the President for foreign policy.

 

As someone who voted for Obama - twice - and is still happy with his votes, I don't think his foreign policy has been very good, and I think the comic 3OF posted is a good summation of why.

 

Sorry...it is plain as day. Obama is a mom-jeans-wearing pussy that no one takes seriously. His decision to sanction SEVEN Russian citizens was a joke. He knows it, the Russians know it and if you are being honest YOU know it. Obama is in so far over his head it's sad. People keep asking, "What would you do differently?" Well, I am not the POTUS. Unfortunately, Barack Obama is. And his response to Putin's aggression has been awful. In every foreign policy situation it seems like he is checkmated before the game even begins. But he flew in with his Superman cape and slew bin Laden with his bare hands (messed him up so bad he could not even show the pictures of the corpse). The guy is so dangerously inept...but the Hope and Change brigade keeps waving their pom-poms and cheering their purty little heads off.

 

So you'd be bombing Moscow. Got it

It keeps getting bandied about because none of you big schlong-swingers who keep harrumping and huffing that Obama is pathetic, a pansyboy, a pussy, a pantywaist, limp-wristed flower-picker, etc etc etc, have managed to splutter out one specific thing any of YOU would be doing differently.


Once again: We have a considerable number of people in the Republic of Texas, right this minute, who believe that entity should secede from the United States.

What would be the reaction of the hairy-chested, thick-necked, shaggy-armpitted, big-hairy-sweaty-smelly-nuts crowd if Vladimir Putin offered them military aid?
