Well, with Biden involved, this appears to be the first strategy.

Just another dogwhistle they use to symbolically emasculate/castrate a powerful black man. Constant references to wimp, pussy, pansy, 'limp,' mom jeans, etc etc etc.

One of their oldest and favorite tactics. Of course they ran it on Clinton and Carter too (and even on JFK, while we're at it) but it's been ramped up 100x on the M.N.

    Stiffen his spine?

He should read Caleb Hannan's article about Dr. V's Magical Putter.

Oh, wait, that sends a chill up your spine, it doesn't stiffen it.

The whole "whisper campaign" against George HW Bush -- the youngest Navy fighter pilot during WWII, and the former captain of Yale's baseball team -- was that he was a "wimp".

One of the Dem frontrunners for the 2016 Presidential nomination, NY Governor Andrew Cuomo, led his father's primary campaign for Governor against Ed Koch, which used the slogan, "vote for Cuomo, not the homo."

Jesse Jackson enunciated his desire to cut the Presidents nuts off.

Hillary Clinton ran an add questioning whether or not candidate Obama would be prepared to field a 3:00AM phone call.

But, God forbid anyone question the toughness of our current President. That's racist.

It's not expansionism. Crimea has been part of Russia/U.S.S.R since 1783 and was never intended to be anything but.

Only a meaningless (at the time) gesture by Khruschev and an unforeseen breakup of the Soviet republics landed the area outside of Moscow's influence. Frankly, it should have returned to Russia in 1991 when the republics broke away. But Russia had an idiot for a leader then. It happens.

Russia is simply taking back what it symbolically "gave away" to a fellow republic when all were under the same government. And this never would have happened had NATO minded its business instead of trying to stir up trouble in Kiev.

You can call Putin an Indian Giver. Or a daddy taking the car away from the rebel son after deciding the son is no longer responsible enough to handle it. But that doesn't make him an expansionist.

But if you want to talk about expansionism . . . hello, NATO. I think the psychological term for this is "projection."

And that campaign was started by St. Reagan. It was brought to full roar during the primary season by his fellow GOPers, who saw him as unfitting to carry on the Gipper's legacy.

Yup, only in a fantasy doll world does this president have a chance to appear competent.

Russia is laughing at Obama. Even worse, they're doing it openly because they have no fear at all of what he might do in response.

    Star Man-
Are you not the one who told us you were kicked off the Kos for ripping the president's lack of aggressiveness?
Your patience with this situation is not in line with your often bellicose means of problem-solving.
    I'm just saying.

When the mainstream media starts to openly call Obama a wimp, let me know.

So far, I know of two Presidential candidates who's manhood has been questioned in this way by Big Media:

I ripped BO on DK because he showed a lack of aggressiveness when he had plenty of options. As I correctly predicted at the time, his actions have come back to repeatedly bite his own ass.

In the current situation, there are no practical options.

In fact, as usual, so far in this situation his main misstep has been a misguided attempt to curry favor or approval from the screaming mob which wants him hanging from a tree (i.e. the 'red line' statements and other horn-honking intended to prove how tough he is).

Anybody pissing and moaning about Obama not sounding 'tough' wouldn't give a good god damn if he got on worldwide teevee, pounded his chest with his fists, stripped down to a bulging jockstrap and threatened to rip Putin's head off with his bare hands and feed it to Bo the dog.

Nothing -- absolutely nothing --- would convince them Obama was really "tough" until missiles were plunging down on the Kremlin.

That's enough of this. We are 720-some posts in on this thread, and probably 600 of them have nothing to do with Ukraine, but are bitching about, or in defense of, Obama.
