(Edit: And @swingline) It feels awkward to like divorce posts. Congratulations and condolences?

    That is pretty!
Sookie and the Gilmore parents were the best parts of GG.

    Belated happy birthday, @Flip Wilson!

The turkey and stuffings and wine (!!) and all the pies were fantastic,
but even better was watching 8 happy grandkids run wild all day long. :)

Dinner with my brother and brother-in-law (that’s all the family that’s left). Went well. Already thinking about modifications to the apple pie, which was my contribution.

“Hoping I Don’t Puke in the Guest Room” would be an amazing name for a book or album.

Got in around 9 last night at my parents’ place with daughter in tow. Our feast is today, because single dads learn to paint memories with pastel blends instead of sharp edges. But I did sneak a glass of egg nog (sadly unspiked) last night so it is officially The Holiday Season.

My brother (referenced above) and his 5-yo daughter are here, and we’re having a grand time watching Frozen, playing with crayons and stuffed animals, and lots of laughs and hugs. Our hearts are full and blessed. No eggnog, though (yet). More turkey and a full array is underway for lunch.

Just finished the post-Thanksgiving breakfast of champions -- black coffee and a slice of cold apple pie.

I had chocolate-zucchini bread for breakfast in preparation for lining up for a Black Friday sale at the local sneaker store. Dude behind me said, at 9:30 a.m., “I’m drunk as hell.”

"A Thanksgiving Intervention" is a Hallmark Movie I want to see.

Since we didn't want to hit the mall crowds, we hit the crowds at Ephrata's Green Dragon farmers' market. Good stuff.
