Imagine getting angry because some people think it's gross to date someone young enough to be your daughter.

Well, sir, it's the "some people think" part, I guess.

Because "some people" don't have a say in the matter. Most of them have enough trouble keeping their own lives in order.

No one has a say in the matter except the two people involved. I guess no one should comment or make an observation on anything ever that doesn't concern them. Might as well shutter 90 percent of this board while you're at it.

It simply amazes how you can spout clean-living talking points and still come off like a douche. :)

If your opinion meant fuck-all to me, that might have been hurtful. Enjoy pining for teenagers and 20-somethings. It's not at all gross.

All About Age Differences in Relationships

You Should Probably Marry Someone Your Own Age

Today, Olson released another set of visuals—the most intriguing of which focuses on the matter of the age gap. A one-year discrepancy in a couple's ages, the study found, makes them 3 percent more likely to divorce (when compared to their same-aged counterparts); a 5-year difference, however, makes them 18 percent more likely to split up. And a 10-year difference makes them 39 percent more likely.

Once you enter large-gap territory—the 20-year difference, the 30-year difference—the odds of divorce are ... almost never in your favor.

This Age Gap Makes Men 87 Percent More Likely to Ask for a Divorce

You Shouldn't Date Anyone This Much Younger Than You, Research Shows

Az, even if all that's true, nobody should be sitting back from a distance and doing the tsk-tsk. You don't know others' reality.

If they're happy, oh well. At the same time, don't put details about your private life online if you don't want to be judged.

Having much younger friends? Not a problem. Dating much younger people? Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..

I don't get it, but if it makes other people happy, more power to them. At the same time, don't call your friends and whine about being bored when Skye-Ponee wants to listen to Olivia Rodrigo and Bishop Briggs and you thought you were all down with the kidz with your Taylor Swift, you hipster, you.

You gotta admit there's a major difference between marrying or just dating a 17-year-old girl (Seinfeld) and a 30-year-old grown ass woman (Brooks).
