What would he sing? That Baylor colluded to keep it quiet?

That guy should never coach again at any college, university or high school. If the National Felon League wants to take a flyer on him, whatevs.

That's the part I don't understand. So you convince the victim not to press charges, but how in the hell do the parents not raise holy hell over their daughter being assaulted?

The parents and daughter (with the coach painting a picture) realize their daughter awaits the same treatment as accusers of Kobe, Winston et al.

I look forward to Briles fully explaining what he means by all that - if he ever does.

I don't think he did anything illegal, either. Those last two, though, are in the eyes of the beholder.

I've grown increasingly uncomfortable with reports that grant anonymity to alleged victims who are filing lawsuits against Baylor but never pressed charges. It's almost impossible for Baylor to answer those charges. But the reports serve as a settlement bargaining chip for the alleged victims.

Somebody is giving Briles bad advice. At Cowboys camp Briles at least seemed semi-contrite when he did his media availability. Now he just sounds extremely tone-deaf, to put it mildly.

Don't you know that the Big 12 is just ecstatic to have Baylor out in front as their flagship?

I'm dying to know who the coach was.

Hopefully the Cyclones will stomp a mudhole in them.
