Joey Shithead and the boys are from Saskatchewan or somewhere out west, no? "Let's Fuck" is a great song and they do a pretty good cover of "Takin' Care Of Business".

The Viletones were probably Toronto's greatest punk band.

    Sirs, Madames,

So help me ... this is true ... a few days ago, out back of the Spad (Spadina Hotel) four guys from Scarboro were hammerin' Handsome Ned and Nazi Dog (Steve Leckie from the Viletones). My buddy Perk and I were walkin' by, cleaned shop til the cops came. We talked our way out of a jam and then Ned and Dog took us to a speak--lo and behold Frankie from Teenage Head was there and we drank til dawn. Now that's a good time.

My nickname on the cross-country team at EYCI was Coco because of my Expos hat. Led the NL in batting avg ... the first week of the first season.

What about the Amazin' Kreskin. (Kresking?) Perry Lefko was on the show a couple of years ago and broke his watch ...

    YHS, etc

I'm telling you, I'm liking what I see out of this Doug Ault kid. If he keeps his head on straight, he's setting himself up for a long and happy retirement.

Too bad Jays let that kid Danny Ainge go. Could have been the next Mike Schmidt.

You know who'd make a great manager for the Jays down the road? Buck Martinez. Remember where you heard it....

Cito Gaston wouldn't be a bad choice, either.

You're all assuming Roy Hartsfield isn't going to last. Come on, the Jays are 5-2 after a season-opening homestand against the Chisox and Detroit - this guy just might take the team all the way to the playoffs.

    Sirs, Madames,

Baseball, shmaseball. I was down at Cabbagetown Gym today (I've got a shift working at the LCBO opposite the Winchester). This kid Shawn O'Sullivan--future champeen of the world, guaranteed.

I'll say this for O'Sullivan - he's incredibly articulate. I just can't get over how well spoken he is.
