Surprising amount of fight from the Vikings.

Decent day from Teddy as the Vikings a first down away from winning.

Griffin missed a wide-open Garcon on fourth-and-6 with just over a minute to go as he tried to engineer a late comeback.

    We want Colt!

Some days you win. Some days the Bengals ram you up the hole. At home. Against one of the 3 worst teams in football.

Not surprised by the amount of fight in the Vikings. I'd expect Zimmer to have them prepared -- this is probably his only head coaching shot unless he wins a division in the land of Rodgers and Stafford in the next 3-4 years.

Still don't know what to make of RGIII. At times late, he didn't have time to throw. On that 4th and 6, he was moving left, throwing right and was nowhere close. He didn't plant and throw.

Multiple sources are saying the decision to start RGIII didn't come from Gruden, but from everyone's favorite owner.

He won't do it, but I'd laugh if Gruden quit in protest, handed Snyder the playbook and said "YOU coach this team..."

Not a complaint. Just pointing out the hypocrisy in what you and LTL were doing there by whining about posts that you think get in the way of football talk rather than actually talking about football.

There is plenty to talk about today. Cowboys lose two in a row and show just how screwed they are without Romo. Bengals nearly piss one away against the Jaguars before Hill's big run saves them. Dolphins stomp the crap out of the Chargers. Manning vs. Brady in the snow? Plenty of good topics, boys. There was no need for the other stuff.

Impossible to listen to Nantz and Simms call a Patriots game. The local radio crew must be more neutral.

Oh, come on now. If the Broncos were up they'd be slurping them just as much. They can't lose and we can't win listening to them in this game.

To be honest, I don't mind that our li'l corner of the country (Pacific Northwest) doesn't get that game.

The weeklong ESPN slurpfest for those two QBs was enough. I'll catch their matchup when it matters, in January.

Broncos special teams in their Super Bowl form. Manning will now wind up with about 40 more throws a couple of TDs, another pick, and a 20 point loss.
