I tend to agree with this, but is there a team in the NFC you would take over them without question? Very underwhelming group right now.

Could see them making a run if they had home field advantage, and would be interesting given the Super Bowl is in Glendale.

Agreed. Nobody in the NFC looks so imposing that the Cardinals couldn't win the conference.

Unfortunately, it is tough to use today's game as a gauge with Romo sitting out.

Ugh. I hate it when broadcasters talk about the Ravens as if they entered the league as an expansion team, which Michaels just did. They are the old Browns. The team in Cleveland now was an expansion team. The rest is just bullshit.

Is this a nadir for the 49ers season or will they bounce back?

I'm still mystified that the 49ers got too cute at the end. First and goal inside the 5 and didn't pound the ball.

Have to admit I was completely wrong about James Harrison. I really didn't think he would help the Steelers, but his return has been huge for that defense. He has been fantastic tonight.

Edit: good call on replay gives him the second sack in the game, his fourth in two games.

That shot by Suggs on Blount looked bad, but is it a dirty play? Thoughts?

Edit: This is getting ugly. Steelers looking for a chance to get a shot on Suggs. Tough personal foul a couple of plays later on Dumervil.

I'd like to see how the Cardinals do against Seattle in a few weeks. This Arizona team is good, but not in an explosive sort of way good. But more in the way of just doing enough to get by it seems.

I think the Cards would beat the Cowboys even with Romo.

Arizona is built to win in the postseason, with a physical defense and quarterback who is peaking.

Did he crane-kick someone in the nuts this time?

Didn't hear the reference, but they essentially were an expansion team in regards to records and such. They left those in the attic at the Cleveland house and started fresh.
