If it's that obvious, make the case. Shouldn't be hard.

That is not a case that even needs to be bothered with making.

I'm just curious as to why a guy with fewer touchdowns and yards, and who completes a lower percentage of his passes (albeit while adding value with his rushing ability) is a slam-dunk choice here. And while "count the rings" is a data point in Wilson's favor, it's not an argument-ender.

How many fumbles does Wilson have?

    Six.
He is a completely different style of player, though.

Marshall hasn't been close to 100 percent.

I've still yet to figure out why Rex Ryan is still employed this morning.

You're 1-8, and you're only win is Week 1 against the winless Raiders.

This season is lost, and if they don't have a slam-dunk replacement in mind, even for an interim basis, it won't accomplish anything to make a move now. May as well play out the string, shitcan the entire staff and GM after the season, and start over with an eye on 2015.

Hell I wouldn't use count the rings as an argument starter.

    But Wilson for his career:
    63.4 COMP%, 2.1 INT%, 7.8 Y/A, 6.0 TD%,

    Cutler for his career:
    61.5 COMP%, 3.3 INT%, 7.2 Y/A, 4.8 TD%

Yeah, unless a coach did something criminal, I don't see a reason to fire mid-season. Don't see any advantage in it.

Probably because Woody doesn't want Idzik to fuck up something else. Best let the 2-14 season finish up and dump 'em both.

Part of that is simply a function of the strength and balance of the division. Baltimore may be in last place, but the Ravens are still above .500.

Pittsburgh's defense is still shaky, but the Steelers have found a way to get pressure on the passer the last two weeks. The difference in the two games is that Luck is a lot more difficult to rattle than Flacco, though the latter still managed to throw for 300 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

I'm not sure how far they can trust Harrison, but there are some things in his favor. Missing training camp and the early part of the season put less wear and tear on his body. Also, he is not an every-down player. Moats is still splitting time with him. They coaches seem to realize they can't put too much on him and they are playing it that way.
