    When I read through the Jan. 3 presser, the only thing even related was a question asked by a reporter about how football and all of the excitement got him through the loss of his grandmother and girlfriend. He didn't address either death directly, instead just mentioning his roommates and friends and how great they were in getting him through some of his downs.
