I've got only a couple of pages tonight. Can I wrap all the national stuff together with a story about Lance Armstrong's dead Internet girlfriend being interviewed by Oprah?

Oh, by the way, I've decided to come clean. That wasn't really me you met at Mulate's. It was a surrogate I sent as a hoax. I thought he'd have a better shot at plying you with jambalaya.

I'd suggest you not misstate the facts in a post emphasizing "facts."

December 26th is the day when he allegedly informed Notre Dame. December 6th is the day when he allegedly learned about it, but kept it a secret until the 26th.

You're right based on what Jack Swarbrick said. But can we really believe any "facts" about any of this?

I admit, I was relying on Ray Ratto on the radio in the car and that's what he said.

Agreed. That's why I made sure to repeatedly insert "allegedly" in that post.

qt's point stands: It looks really bad to keep pushing the story when you knew it was bullshit. AP also reporting he talked about the girlfriend on Dec. 11.

Never mind that. Per Thamel's interview, he didn't see her in the hospital, and was going to be in flight to Hawaii when they were supposed to pull the plug before she got better via a Festivus miracle.

Now Catholic scandals have grown to include both dead girls and live boys.

I'm really starting to just kind of pity this guy. Like I just feel sad to watch everything fall apart.

The only way out of this for Teo is to say that he is gay even if he is not. He would be immediately embraced as the first openly gay pro football player and pave the way for others.
