    Wait, you mean he was cheating on the memory of his dead fake girlfriend with a real girl? The bounder should be horsewhipped!
    This story is great, but it's not one to get indignant about. Who exactly did Te'o harm with this fantasy besides humiliating himself? NBC, ESPN, Sports Illustrated? They did it to themselves.

    This story's so mind-boggling. I want to see all the facts emerge before I pass judgment, but damn this looks bad for Te'o.

    My platonic GFs used to tell me that women could smell desperation a mile away; that's why if you're already in a relationship, your prospects increase greatly.

    Okay, here's the real story:

    Te'o goes along with the ruse so he can pump himself up to score with this one.

    P.S. I'm not saying Tuiasasopo should get off or not be scorned; hell my boy got sorta catfished (girl was real but someone supposedly passed along her email (which was fake) and kept up the ruse) and I cannot look at the kid the same to this day.
