No apology needed. You've no doubt had a rough weekend, what with your disappointing showing at the box office.

 

Now that's not fair. It really took Roethlisberger a year or two in the league to develop from being kind of a jerk to really being a piece of sh it.

Your point is well taken, though. Roethlisberger's status isn't the same as Favre's and that is going to have an impact. Just like public opinion had an impact on the NFL's treatment of Roethlisberger.

Also, while both are violations of another human being, rape is certainly a different matter than sexual harrassment.

 

The league has to be praying on its knees that Sterger doesn't cooperate with the investigation. Seems to be the only way they can make this go away due to lack of evidence, she ends up looking like she has something to hide, Favre can say he put the whole thing behind him and just wants to focus on football. Tidy.

Of course, someone knows for sure whether that pic is real or not, ie, his wife, so that would be interesting.

 

Hasn't she stated she would participate?

Also, not related to your post, I can't believe there are people out there, such as breathless moron Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who believe this story was intentionally released by a former Jets employee just before the Jets game. This story broke on Deadspin about two weeks ago.

 

One should always grasp for whatever hope one can find in life.

Easy joke aside, Favre's wife is all but a dead ringer for Patricia Heaton.

I said all but ignored. Unless coverage ramped up in the last day, I stand by my statement. The two papers should not be getting their asses kicked this badly on this story.
