Or, tell her to watch the Rangers-Tigers series on FOX - after all, Terry Francona is the color commentator.

Assuming you haven't gone hyperlocal and still do report on the MLB.

You should tell her they did, to watch them on Fox tonight. Then prepare for the confused phone call.

"I'm sorry in which year are you asking about miss? Oh, okay, let me check my files, I'll be right with you."

Lay down the receiver and continue with your day...she'll hear tapping on the keyboard and think you're really busy searching for her. Wonder how long she'll stay on the line :)

I'm doing this the next time I get one of those calls. No joke. What's the over-under on how long it takes the person to hang up?

Tell her you're not sure because they just canceled the first two weeks of the season.

The daily in Saratoga Springs, NY, prints a "Pink Sheet" every racing day during the Spa season.

Has nothing to do with cancer.

This bugs me. The weekly I work for re-designed the paper for all of the issues coming out this month. Every logo and graphic in the paper is changed pink. What's worse, they add special designs and eat up space that's otherwise reserved for actual stories. Not to mention the four pages reserved for "uplifting stories."

Yes, some of the proceeds are donated to somebody somewhere. But I'd love to know how much extra $$$ they make off of the special pink ads.

And the major area daily also does a paper on pink paper one day in October as well.

No, MMA wife...I won't do a feature on your husband every time he has an upcoming fight. We did one when he started his career and that's going to be good enough for a long while.

Yes, the brief in the paper announcing the upcoming fight is all we plan on doing pre-fight.

Not to mention that the company is probably hemroging cash and deciding to donate money they don't have.

How else is Dana White going to know this guy exists? You know he reads every paper from all corners of country looking for new talent.
