That's what I was thinking, but she should have written Guad.

    Another from the email dimwits:

    Dear crazy volleyball coach/football parent,
Your son wasn't listed as one of our football stars of the week because we didn't have his mugshot on hand. Even if we did, he probably wouldn't have been listed among the stars -- who, by the way, are listed in alphabetical order ...

But I guess the story wasn't enough for you. A good chunk of the story was about him and what he did Friday night, but I guess you didn't see that.

I don't remember what birth announcement lady said, but it wasn't anything close and was a place I'd never heard of.

Dear crazed emailer with too much time on her hands,

You're absolutely right. Allegations that the Town Council is on the payroll for a big local development corporation should be investigated. Had these allegations come from a reputable source, I might have been inclined to do that BUT ...

    They were on Patch.com ....

    In the comments section.

So, no, I will not be "investigating" these "serious allegations" because, well, to put it frank, I don't put much stock into what random comment makers on websites say. If I did that, I'd spend 90% of my time investigating such hard hitting remarks such as "Obama is a total Nazi and not an American citizen" and "Don't believe in the lies! September 11th was George Bush's fault".

So, rather than investigating that, I'm going to sit here and scratch my balls.

    Seee, you're wrong. It wasn't Bush's fault.
    It was the Freemasons...

    I can beat that Flex.

Last Thanksgiving, I was freelancing, and I was at the outlet malls at midnight, filed the story, slept. then went to a couple of firehouse free Thanksgiving Dinners. (OK, that was not a hardship).

I'm always amazed at how often our writing can reduce teenagers to tears...at least if I'm to believe the complaining parents out there...lol.

We ran a water polo feature last week showcasing four freshmen on the team and how this year's playoff run will be a new challenge for the defending champs based on that youth.

One mom emails (a chronic complainer) saying that the entire team was in tears over the story. Really? Give me a break. Would you like me to pay for some team counseling sessions???

    Is it dusty in here?

Nah. Flexmaster just wrote another water polo tearjerker.
