I had a parent call me about her child's name always being misspelled, so I checked the preseason questionnaire from the coach and a game program, and yep, we spelled it like it was in both of those. So I called the mom back and she insinuated that the coach and school spelled her child's name incorrectly because they got it from us.

This wouldn't happen if parents would just spell their f**king kid's name right in the first place instead of trying to make their little shit special.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go daydream about my future daughter, Alyision Putrcia.

Sounds like it's that. What I hate is when they point out it's misspelled, you apologize and then they say "Oh, it's not important."

If it wasn't important you wouldn't have called.

Parents like that are the reason why I ask the spelling of every name when I'm doing a story. Even Jim could be spelled something like Gjymm'. Sometimes, I just want to ask the parents what the hell they were thinking.

Right there. I hate that. Michael should not be spelled Mikel.

My sister named her son Kaleb. I told her she spelled it wrong.
