    Don't use lol. Also, try to use proper grammar. Ending your sentences with some kind of punctuation would be a good start.

    To be fair, when I first started here, I was the same way. I thought I knew it all, I was not afraid to speak my 22-year old mind the way I had on other boards and didn't get the difference between this site and every other one on the internet, where I could be my cocky, arrogant, slightly racist self.

    Then I caught hell on each and every thread I posted on.

    Now, I feel like people respect me and my opinions a lot more than they did in the past. I feel like the posters here value my opinion on topics that I have displayed a bit of knowledge on (TV and wrestling mostly) and, for the most part, I feel the people here understand my humor now.

    Don't get me wrong, I'm sure everyone still thinks I'm a douche but at least now they consider me "their douche". :)
