    IJAG, your efforts are to be commended. Seriously. I appreciate them. But let's go the horse to water route - can't make him drink. Your project is bigger than you thought. He needs to spend his recess trying to get laid instead of being on here.

    Quit dissing Manky. That guy's a genius. I still chuckle at the "Ted Williams would be like Nick Johnson" theory.

    Ted Williams in his current state could stay healthy and play more than Nick Johnson. Damn, talk about plate discipline (cross thread), he had it. Just as fragile as a china doll.

    Nick Johnson is Larry Bowa's nephew. Just thought I'd throw that in. It may be the closest thing he has in common with Ted Williams.

    Boy, I have to disagree here on Williams. His batting eye would be very compromised in his current physical state.

    I'm still trying to wrap my head around IJAG sending 200 text messages to try to straighten the kid out. I'd send none and just enjoy the entertainment

    I miss Kermit. He made everything OK.

    I would like SkipToTheLoo just fine if he started a thread with pointed explanations as to the merits of broad comedies and crime procedurals. That would make my fucking week.
