Love the film. Hate what Field of Dreams is now. With MLB's penchant to run good things into the ground, I'm surprised there aren't games there every week.

Also, Moose and Rocco are about to eff up Judge Smails pretty good.

Maybe I'm naive, but... Couldn't he just become a pro golfer, or a club pro somewhere? He won the club's amateur tournament, and he carried Ty Webb for the last couple of holes. Also, throughout the movie, it's not like Danny is some weird outcast. He'd probably end up in some kind of sales, like a lot of middle class dudes did. Worst case scenario, he's got allies in Webb and Al Czervik, rich businessmen who can probably get him a job somewhere.

I love Breakfast Club, but as the high school loner who tried to do others’ work in hopes of popularity (or, y’know, a date), I instantly recognized Brian ended up alone.

Makes one wonder what happens since neither he nor Al Czervik show up in the sequel? Did they beat the judge to death? Did czervik go to prison for ordering the fatal assault?

I wonder what kind of psychological trauma Elizabeth Perkins’ character went through after learning she banged a 12-year-old in Big.

I'm sure they just made sure the judge found his checkbook.

And wasn't Dr. Beeper still on the hook, too?

And why the fuck would Smails accept the double-or-nothing wager? He already CAN'T LOSE since he sank his putt and all Noonan can do is tie it if he makes his.

Now he's putting himself in a position where he can lose.

    Great question.

Is she a pedo, or not?

I thought of that as soon as I read bumpy's post. So in some ways Wizard of Oz is darker than people realized, but in others it is not.

That movie is seriously fucked up once you really think about it.
