Glock is a popular brand and that model is one of the company's bestsellers.

It's pretty sick that he's using this notoriety to push an agenda.

And Sheriff Dupnik still won't shut the hell up:

He's forgetting that he started the whole vicious cycle.

The comparison wasn't the radical left of the 1960s to the Klan of the 1960s. It was the radical left of the 60s to the Tea Party movement, and there isn't any valid comparison, since no Tea Partier has been linked to bombings of Federal buildings and killing cops.

The Klan, the scourge of the earth in the U.S. like none other since the country's founding, is an apple to this orange.

It's also possible, that in addition to not knowing when to shut up, that the sheriff is sick of numbnuts who could be inspired by a local named Clay Douglas, who has his own Patriot Movement media "empire" in Tucson.

    http://www.freeamerican.com/

http://thcministriesofarizona.com/ (Yeah, he loves pot, too!)

http://libertyvillages.org/ -- His idea to build your own self-sustaining community for when the Zionists collapse the government.

I remember the sheriff in Johnson County, Ind., tearing his hair out over the Patriot Movement when I worked there in the mid-90s, and this guy was very, very Republican. He was sick of his officers pulling people over for having homemade license plates and IDs that showed they were free citizens of the Republic of whatever land they lived on, or hearing long lectures in court from speeders who claimed there was no state authority to pull them over because the government was illegitimate, etc.

Their leader was Linda Thompson, a local most notable for racing to the scene at Waco when David Koresh was under siege, and for producing a video that "proved" the ATF shot firebombs into his compound. She actually did run for political office as a Democrat, but that's because the Republican party wanted nothing to do with her, and Democrats often didn't field candidates because their party had no chance, so she would suck up that void. One Republican Congressman who presented a list of people connected with Clinton who had mysteriously died got his list from Thompson. Eventually, she fell out of favor (what little favor she had) after calling for an armed march on Washington.

I don't know that the Pima County sheriff had Douglas in mind, but I'm sure, based on what I saw in the Clinton days of the Patriot Department, that department has had to deal with whack-a-doodles inspired by that guy.

What is it with Arizona lawmen? There's this guy, and that crazy dude from Maricopa County who's always looking for a bit of attention.

It's a testament to the hard work and the lobbying muscle of the entertainment industry that we're all still talking about the political media he likely never saw instead of the violent media he did consume.

In the past, people debated the influence of Metallica and Natural Born Killers. Today, it's all about Rush Limbaugh & Sarah Palin.

This guy listened to violent music -- like Drowning Pool's Bodies (Let the Bodies Hit the Floor) -- and played violent video games. No one's attributed his behavior to these influences (and maybe rightly so). But, if they had no influence, how did political rhetoric he didn't pay attention to drive him?

And in an age where "medical" marijuana is the all the rage, his drug use/abuse has barely been mentioned despite studies that show the impact of marijuana use in people already suffering from schizophrenia.

The entire "political" reaction to this tragedy is a disgrace.

Perhaps I shall clarify. KKK of the 1910s to 40s. Right wing terrorism at its worst.

And let's not pretend for a minute that McVeigh's anti-government philosophies don't line up with the Tea Party. They very much do. He was Tea Party before the Tea Party.

    Sheriff Dupnik:

Does anyone really believe he's not trying to politicize this tragedy?
