Certainly compared to Alaska it is. Afterall, up there they're crucifying former Governors for passover.

    Yeah, I saw that.

But, as a teaching hospital, it could have a reputation that goes beyond how busy they are.

I wonder what the hospital looks like if compared to Russia.

Stop publishing and/or airing Palin's pronouncements until she engages in an actual question-and-answer session with the media. Or require her to pay for what is long-running free public relations. This is getting ridiculous.

I'll tell you what Tucson does have- one of the best museums I've ever been to -The Pima Air and Space Museum- they have hundreds of military aircraft from WW2 on up. Part of tour takes you to the Air Force "bone yard" where military stores all the planes not currently in use- literally thousands of planes just parked in the desert.

Just saw the 1/2 term former Governor of Alaska's "video statement."

    Wow.

Could this be the most narcissistic moment in American political history? Between the subject matter, the timing, the format, the on-and-on length, the "blood libel" ridiculousness, combined with her stature in the world (she is, after all, no longer an elected official. In fact, her official standing is about that of Geraldine Ferraro's, is it not?) makes this a face-palm of epic proportions.

How would use 'blood libel' correctly?

I honestly don't know what it actually means, in any context.

I don't think there really is any correct way to use it. It's a term that anyone with a shred of intelligence should probably stay far away from ... as the blowback from Jewish groups this morning has already demonstrated.

Of course, this is Sarah Palin we are dealing with here.

She's probably finally jumped the shark with this one.

If she had no idea what it meant, then she's and even bigger moron than I tought to allow somebody to put it into her statement.

Right now, Sarah Palin and her Tea Party extremeists are the best things that could happen for the Democrats.
