    Oh, I don't think it was a conspiracy. I meant "intentional" as in using phrase while knowing what it meant.

    Either she knew the true meaning, or she used it without checking the exact definition. Doesn't say much. She should have kept her statements to offering prayers for the victims and trying to unite the country. Using phrases such as "blood libel" only create more divisions, which is the last thing we need.

    "Blood libel," the Post's Ruth Marcus writes, comes from the accusation that Jews murdered Christian children and used their blood on the matzoh for Passover. It has been repeated throughout history and was part of Hitler's campaign.
